Yvette V. Gatling advises employers nationwide on employment matters, including reductions in force, wage and hour audits, and Department of Labor proceedings. She represents clients across industries such as healthcare, financial services, oil and gas, technology, and retail. She has handled trials and arbitrations involving defamation, discrimination, and FMLA retaliation, and has secured multiple summary judgments affirmed by federal appellate courts. Yvette also leads large-scale compliance audits, including nationwide reviews of pay practices and job classifications. In addition to her practice, she co-chairs her firm’s Healthcare Practice Group and supports diversity and inclusion initiatives. She previously clerked for a U.S. District Judge and served as a senior editor of the Louisiana Law Review.
