Shalanna Pirtle is Parker Poe’s executive overseeing talent management, diversity and inclusion, professional development, and recruiting and retention. She also builds external partnerships to advance D&I in the legal profession and broader community. She is a certified mediator with the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission and mediates disputes at both state and federal levels, helping parties resolve conflicts before and during litigation. Shalanna also represents employers across industries in employment counseling, internal investigations, and litigation. She defends clients in discrimination, wrongful discharge, contract disputes, and wage and hour matters, and appears before the EEOC and state labor agencies.
