Monica Rodriguez is a seasoned employment lawyer and litigator focused on wage-and-hour and labor matters across industries including education, tech, retail, hospitality, healthcare, transportation, and manufacturing. She represents employers in California and federal courts in class, representative, and single-plaintiff cases involving wage-and-hour disputes, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. She also defends clients in labor relations matters such as unfair labor practice charges, union grievances, and contract disputes, and assists with collective bargaining. Monica additionally provides employment counseling on hiring and termination decisions, accommodations, layoffs, furloughs, severance agreements, and workplace policies.
