He advises organizations—from large companies to nonprofits—on labor negotiations, union campaigns, and workforce strategies, focusing on practical, business-driven solutions. His practice emphasizes traditional labor law, including defending unfair labor practice charges before the NLRB, handling collective bargaining, arbitrating grievances, and guiding clients through union organizing efforts. He also trains management on labor relations compliance and strategy. In addition, Dean defends employers in employment litigation involving discrimination, retaliation, and disability claims, including appellate work.
