Alka Ramchandani-Raj is an experienced employment lawyer focused on federal and state OSHA law and workplace safety. She helps employers manage complex workforce issues, including communicable disease response, and helped lead Littler’s COVID-19 task force, developing workplace safety policies, return-to-work plans, and compliance programs. She advises on preventative safety practices, site inspections, and policy development, and represents employers after workplace injuries, accidents, fatalities, and OSHA inspections. Alka regularly handles OSHA appeals, hearings, and settlements, and has experience addressing workplace violence. She also provides employment counseling and litigation support involving terminations, retaliation, whistleblower claims, discrimination, harassment, ADA issues, and agency complaints. She co-chairs the Workplace Safety & Health Practice Group and is involved in emerging technology issues related to AI, robotics, and workplace automation.
