2026 NELC Perfect Pitch - Regional Conference Edition

Thursday, October 8, 2026

McDonald’s HQ | Chicago, IL

Eligibility

We welcome both outside counsel and in-house counsel who are current NELC members to participate in Perfect Pitch.

Outside counsel participants must have between 8 and 15 years of labor and employment law practice experience. Each participating law firm may submit one Pitch Team consisting of no more than two lawyers from the same firm who meet the eligibility requirements.

In-house counsel may participate as evaluators, offering practical feedback to outside counsel Pitch Teams.

Pitch Teams and Format

Pitches should focus on labor and employment services. Beyond that, the content and approach are yours to define.

Each session will be 45 minutes, with approximately 30 minutes for the presentation and the remaining 15 minutes reserved for feedback and discussion with the in-house counsel evaluators.

Although evaluator panels will not be organized by specific areas of expertise, selected Pitch Teams will receive information about the companies represented on their panel so they may tailor their presentation if desired.

A/V capabilities will not be available due to space limitations. Teams are encouraged to bring printed copies of any materials they plan to share.

How to Participate

All participants must first register for the NELC Regional Conference on October 8 in Chicago.

Outside counsel should indicate their interest in participating in Perfect Pitch on the conference registration form. After registering, they will receive a separate email with a link to submit a Perfect Pitch application.

The application must include:

  • A biography for each Pitch Team member
  • A brief explanation of how the team would benefit from participating
  • A description of the team members’ contributions to NELC’s mission

Perfect Pitch registrations must be submitted online by September 10, 2026.

In-house counsel interested in serving as evaluators should indicate their interest directly on the Regional Conference registration form. No separate application is required.

We look forward to seeing the next generation of NELC leaders share their expertise, strengthen their business development skills, and grow within NELC’s supportive and empowering community.
